Your Peanut Butter hit my Chocolate!

No, your Chocolate hit my Peanut Butter! Remember that commercial...yes, mmm...I think that was the time I feel in love with Chocolate and Peanut Butter.

And when I was pregnant with Jelly, hubby would walk into this local ice cream shop and order me a sundae with a double hit of the peanut butter sauce with hot fudge...mmmm.

I do love peanut butter!

Thankfully, I haven't eaten any peanut butter under the latest food recall. But many have and have gotten very sick.

So, here is a news story on WebMd for you reading pleasure and for now, just eat your chocolate!

Yet another Government failing to do its job

Today, a friend - who is well aware of my rage that I release on my blog over child-safety recalls and our government who continues to make stupid decisions that not only affect our lives, but those of our young children, whom we will need in the future - sent me an email about the Chinese formula recall.

Thankfully the recall should not affect us here, but it is still very sad because thousands of babies were sickened and even worse, three died.

But then, in another email, more haunting news about BPA. After a finding that said BPA was harmless...now another group is saying the chemical is in fact harmful and is causing diabetes and heart problems in humans.

When will someone stand-up to the special-interests groups and start protecting the people who elect them?

Child Product Recalls

With so little time and our hands full -- many of us don't have the time to watch the news, or read the newspaper to get this important information. And then there are some of us who never knew that the Government had a recall area for Children's products! So, on the right side you will see I added "Child Product Recalls" section.

If you go to the recall and click on it, it will direct you to the press release by the Consumer Product Safety Commission Office.
