Some Sunday Ramblings

We had a good couple of months, a couple sniffles but nothing much more...so I knew it was only a matter of time...the flu is at its peak with 3 versions striking, meaning the flu shot only covered 1.

On Friday night, Jelly bean didn't want to eat and went straight to bed and Saturday had a 102.0 fever, with a cough and runny nose. But out of all my sicknesses, I will take this any day.

Thankfully she doesn't mind taking tylenol and motrin...

Hubby has been taking advil too, he has a really bad stiff neck...I feel for him, it isn't fun walking around like a robot...

So, here I am (Let me find some wood) knock - knock on wood, I am the only one who is healthy in our household. I am ready for winter to come to an end (didn't the groundhog say 6 more weeks?) what does he know, right? And speaking of snow, for all of those here in Central PA...you have hubby to thank...we bought a monster snowblower this winter and mother nature has been tormenting him since. Poor guy, can't even enjoy his new toy!

The year we finally got the Mr. a snowblower, we hardly had any snow at all. And when we finally had more than an inch, we looked out the window to see our neighbor blowing the driveway for us :)

Oh it's too bad my dad can't borrow it - they've had nothing BUT snow for ages in VT...sorry the little one is getting sick again. My kids just recovered & already my daughter's complaining of a sore throat again. :-( :-( :-(

I can say that we have been battling it here too. Bug was home for three days last week with it coming out both ends and a fever... Boo! I think I am finally getting better (fingers crossed) after three weeks for both of us!
Sorry about hubby's big-boy toy but I am blaming MD's lack of snow on Bug's new snow pants!!
Hope everyone is feeling better soon!!

thanks for the well wishes...It looks like another day home from school and work for our house. Jelly's fever won't break and Hubby is on three prescription meds -- Cat and I are the only ones -- bouncing around (well, snoozing by the fire!) LOL!

Looks like we may get 1-3 inches of snow tomorrow...does that mean I get to shovel? When is spring coming? WAHHHHH!
