The truthiness (I have been dying to use that word) about toddlers is, they tell the truth. They don't mean to hurt feelings and be mean, they just say it how it is...
I was putting Jelly bean in her car seat the other day after work and she saw a broach on my coat that Hubby bought me...
Jelly bean "What's that mommy?"
Me "A Broach"
Jelly bean "That is pretty, I want it."
Me "Thank you Jelly, that is sweet."
Jelly bean "You're welcome mommy."
Me "Are you sweet talk'n me?
Jelly bean "Yes!"
I giggled and gave her a kiss and she looked at me serious...
Jelly bean "I want my snack now."
Truth be told, she meant business!

awww that is too cute! Thanks for a great blog!
I'm so scared to learn what truthiness my girls will share ... yet I look forward to it immensely.
