While being mauled by two huge puppets in the form of Sesame Street characters this past weekend, (trust me, it was very ugly). It dawned on me how much children love puppets. And of course someone asked, where did you get those cute furry creatures...I thought, hey that is a blog post! So, this WSD is dedicated to all those parents who love their children enough to be attacked by a high-pitched giggling and screaming toddler, ehem, puppet.
You too can buy these really cute, toddler-sized puppets. My daughter has Elmo and Cookie Monster. They are soft and cuddly like stuffed animals, but with the added benefit of being a puppet. They have smaller versions too at less cost.
And to practice the voices, cause trust me, you're gonna need it -- be sure to check out Sesame Street's website. On the website you will find cute games for the kids and some neat stuff for parents too.
And if you get a chance to see Sesame Street Live, do! Jelly bean loved to sing and dance the whole way through, but warning...if you can distract your child from the huge Elmo balloon until after the show...trust me you won't regret it!
Happy Weekend!
